Vietnam evisa cost is a topic of interest for many travelers. Looking for a cheap way to get a Vietnam visa? Try the e-visa process. For a 30-day, single-entry visa, the current government fee is $25 USD.
E-visa fee 2023
- You can get an e-visa from the official government website for $25 USD. It will take 3 days to process your application. If you change your mind or receive a rejection, you won’t receive a refund.

Step by step guide
Step 1: Before you apply for an e-visa
- Check your eligibility: E-visa is only available to citizens from 80 countries. You can find the list of eligible countries here.
- Prepare your photo: You need a recent photo of yourself without glasses. The photo should be 4cm*6cm in size. You can check the photo guidelines here.
- Renew your passport if needed: You need a passport that is valid for at least 6 months for this visa. If your passport is expiring soon, please renew it before applying for an e-visa.
Step 2: Prepare your documents
You will need these documents to apply for the e-visa:
- A passport that is valid for at least six months.
- A scanned copy of your passport’s data page in .jpg format. This is the page with your photo and personal information.
- A passport-sized photo in .jpg format. The photo should be 4x6cm, have a white background, and show your face clearly without glasses.
- Use an internationally accepted credit or debit card. You will use this to pay the e-visa fee online.
- An address in Vietnam where you will stay. This can be a hotel, a homestay, or the address of your family or friends.
- The dates of your arrival and departure, and the port where you will enter and leave Vietnam. You can see the list of ports that accept e-visas here.
Step 3: Get your E-visa
How to apply for the e-visa online:
- Go to our website and fill out the application form: https://vietnamvisalink.com/apply-now/
- Upload .jpg images of your passport page and passport photo.
- Enter the information from your passport page. (Name, date of birth, nationality, passport number..ect)
- Tell us about your trip. (Travel date, who invited you or guaranteed your stay, where you will stay, how long you will stay)
- Pay the e-Visa fee (48 USD) with one of the payment options. (Visa, master and other credit/debit cards)
- Wait for 5-7 working days (You can ask for faster processing if you need)
